Meet maca
Native to the Peruvian Andes, maca is a plant traditionally enjoyed as food. We use organic maca powder for its earthy, caramel-like flavour that folds beautifully into our praline filling.

Libido. Small studies suggest maca may support sexual desire in some men and sexual function in some women, including women after menopause. Evidence remains limited.
Energy, mood and wellbeing. These have been explored in research, with some encouraging findings, but benefits are not firmly established across the general population.
Antioxidant research. Maca contains plant compounds investigated for antioxidant activity. Laboratory findings do not establish an antioxidant health benefit from eating this product.
A note on the studies. Research uses particular preparations and amounts of maca, which may differ from those in our dates. No claims are made here about balancing hormones or guaranteed results.
